Listen to the story. Can you recount what happened in chronological order? ( rewrite the story in your own words) Add a feeling to each sentence when you describe the characters. Don’t forget to add: Time tags...One sunny morning, first, next, after that, in a while, meanwhile, etc. Adjectives to describe what the characters and places looks like. Powerful verbs: ran, jumped, skipped...can you add an adverb to say how the did the action? Quickly, slowly, nervously... Capital letters and full stops or exclamation marks...or ellipsis Try to spell some high frequency words correctly and use phonic knowledge to work our new words. Can you add some speech?
