Student Instructions

1. Select add . 2. Review the examples on Page 1. 3. Page 2: Read the poem. Then use the pen tool to place dots to match each number, place one dot on the left side and then on the right side back and forth until you reach the accurate number. Notice: the even numbers have matches, the odd numbers do not have a match on each side. 4. Page 3: Use the highlighter tool and color even numbers blue (numbers where a 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8 in the ones place are EVEN). Use yellow to color the odd (numbers where there is a 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 in the ones place are ODD). 5. When you are done, select the check to place your work in your journal.
