Creating Stage Directions

Year Groups: 10th Grade, 9th Grade, 8th Grade
Subjects: Drama

Instructions for Pupils

1. Use the label tool to label four or more parts of a stage. 2. Use the rec tool to explain how you want your character to move during a scene. Make sure to provide specific reasons why your character is moving. 3. Make sure to use the drawing tool and/or the arrow tool to demonstrate your character's stage directions as you explain. Optional: Submit a second response to the activity as a video where a partner records you practicing your stage movements.

Teacher Notes (not visible to pupils)

You can also adjust this activity so that students work in groups. They can use different colors in the drawing for their separate directions.
