Subitizing sort (4, 5, 6)

Grades: PK-TK, Kindergarten
Subjects: Math

Student Instructions

When we subitize, we look at an amount and know how many right away, without counting. Today, you're going to use your subitizing skills to sort pictures. Tap the green add button. Look at the pictures. Tell how many in each picture, then move it to the group showing that number. Remember, when we subitize, we don't count, we just tell how many right away. If a picture shows 4 pips on a die, it would go in the 4 group. Use the move tool to sort all of the pictures. Your groups are 4, 5, and 6. Tap the check to turn in your work.
