Student Instructions

Learning Intention: Assist the cartoon students to complete their given tasks. It is really difficult for teachers to see what you are capable of or if you have learnt what you needed to if you leave your work unfinished. Students may come up with lots of excuses for not finishing their work, but there is no excuse for not doing your best work. This is a skill that you will need all throughout your life and into your working life- finish the job! Thinking questions: 1. Why is it important to finish what you start? 2. What are some things that you have to finish in order to win something or to get a prize? 3. What would happen if you only painted a room half way? Or the bus driver wanted to stop half way in the middle of the route? Your chicken dinner was only cooked a little bit? 4. Can you think of other jobs that are important to complete all the way? 5. What happens if a job needs to be done and the person responsible to do it doesn't finish? Directions: Read the instructions for the task for each student and complete the task.
