Teachers, save “Rhythm Dice” to assign it to your class.

1. Click 2. Use your drawing tools to write in a four-beat rhythm for each of the six dice faces listed. You can use whole, half, quarter, eighth, and sixteenth notes and rests. Just be sure that each rhythm adds up to four beats. 3. Use the link attached to "roll" a die. The number it lands on will be the first rhythm you copy down in to your worksheet. Roll the die again, and put that number's rhythm in the second spot. Keep going until your worksheet is filled out. 4. Use the tool to record yourself performing your rhythm composition. You may clap it or use a classroom instrument. 5. Click to add your composition to your journal.
