We have 5 people as of Feb. 16 and would love to have more! 6:00 pm Central USA time Literacy Upper Elementary-3rd-5th grade Seesaw Pioneers, Seesaw Ambassadors, and Seesaw Certified Educators Join me for an informal conversation about upper elementary literacy--both reading comprehension and writing. We will discuss and share with each other different strategies and tools to help support our upper elementary students with their literacy skills. We'll also leave time during each session to help answer each other's questions and brainstorm solutions. Join me as we connect and grow together! Session will include discussions of ways to engage students in responding as they read texts, improving metacognitive thinking during reading, taking close reading notes, and using sentence stems to practice writing skills for short writing practice assignments, and using feedback on longer writing assignments.
