1. Choose a speech topic from the list. 2. In your journal, write a speech on your selected topic. 3. Underline words you will WORD PUNCH. 4. Highlight where you will look up and use EYE CONTACT with your audience. 5. Circle places where you will GESTURE. 6. Stand in front of a mirror or facing a wall and practice delivering your speech. Practice until you feel ready and confident! 7. Record a video of yourself delivering our speech. 8. Post your speech to your journal. 9. Watch your speech. 10. Make a comment on your speech telling something you did well and something you could improve. 11. Watch other student's speeches and two things they did well and one idea for improvement.
