Talk to your child about things that are long and things that are short. Can you make 2 caterpillars, one long one and one short one you can draw them, paint them, make them out of play dough, make them out of egg boxes. Can you measure each caterpillar using Lego blocks, or wooden blocks, or pieces of pasta to find out how long your long caterpillar is and how long your short caterpillar is? Enjoy!
