This week you will create and photograph a sculpture that requires you to try to defy gravity and find balance.
Gravity is a force, but have you ever thought of it as a source of inspiration? This is something many artists, over time, have explored in their work.
On a piece of paper write the word Gravity in a way that shows what you know already about this force. On this paper take notes when watching the Brainpop video about gravity. Write key words, draw images and symbols to help you remember some facts

Once your mind is switched on to science then:
1.
Watch the instruction video for this activity. Notice what the South Korean artist, Rocky Byun, says about BALANCE with objects and in life.
2. Gather materials - be resourceful - turn paper into 'rocks' or use actual rocks if you have some!
3. Create sculptures as seen in the video.
4. Photograph your sculpture from different view points - how does this change your perspective?

upload your #1 favourite
photo of your sculpture and give it a title to give it more meaning.
On Page 2
the collection of photos you took.
On Page 3
a photo of your
sketchnotes about gravity.
6.
On Page 4 complete the reflection thinking about BALANCE & SELF-MANAGEMENT
