You will see This activity is about compensation. Compensation is when we borrow numbers in a math problem to make friendly numbers. In subtraction questions we have to make sure we are making the friendly number with what is being subtracted from the whole or the first number. When you are finished going through the rainbow slides, it will be your turn to use the drawing tool and use compensation on the purple pages. When you are finished, click the green to send to your teacher.
