Teachers, save “Weekly Recount Writing” to assign it to your class.

1. Write a recount about something you have done with your family. 2. by posting a photo of your writing and record your voice over the photo reading your writing. 3. Remember to use your sounds to sound out the words you want to write! 4. Draw a picture underneath your writing. We can't wait to see your writing and hear your voices! An example: On the weekend I went to the park with my family for a walk. First we walked to the park. Then we jogged around the oval. Next we had a break and a drink of water from our drink bottles. Finally we walked home. I felt tired!
