Student Instructions
1. Read each verse from the Bible: Ephesians 4:32: Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Luke 6:31: And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. John 15:12: This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Matthew 7:12: So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Mark 12:31: The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. 2. Make a video and explain how you can show the idea from the verses every day during Advent. 3. We will keep an Advent Journal and respond to this activity every day at school. **For parents: I showed the children two apples- one was dropped repeatedly and the insides were mushy and the other was fine. We discussed how loving words can make a person feel good on the inside, but hurtful goods make us feel ugly on the inside.**
From Facebook by Relax Kids Tamworth Try to make certain both apples look similar on the outside so you can make the point that the apple that is mushy may look alright on the outside or may not say anything, but they do feel rotten on the inside.
