Scientific Method - Vocabulary Power Pack - Day 2

Grades: 4th Grade
Subjects: English Language Arts, Multilingual Learners, Science

Student Instructions

Today is Day 2 of our work on the Scientific Method. Today we will focus on understanding what a hypothesis is. The first two example slides are the cards you need to read. The third example slide shows how you will be assessed at the end of this mini-unit. Part of this will be a self-assessment and part will be a teacher assessment. PART 1 Click add and complete the activity using the Hypothesis Vocabulary on Card 1a using the text boxes provided. Then use the pencil tool to create your drawings. Remember, you can zoom in as you work to make it easier. You will find the Hypothesis Card in the first two example slides. You can also find it in RAZ-Kids under Reading Assignments. You need to look at the second and third cards today (Card 1a and Card 1b). If you cannot find the cards under Reading Assignments, follow the steps in slide 5 to find them. PART 2 On the second page, answer the two questions from the Power Links box on Card 1b using complete sentences. When you have finished both parts, click check to submit your work.
