You will learn to identify the causes that can lead to natural disasters. Some can have more human factors that contribute than others. We cover in this activity: - Wildfires - Floods In activity 2 we cover: - Earthquakes - Hurricanes/tropical cyclones/ typhoons - Volcanoes

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Notes: Sometimes you need more than one cause or factor to produce a disaster. Some factors like Stopbanks can stop reasonable size floods but if they fail cause more devastating floods.
