Personal Records Art

This week you read about Native Americans and how they did not write like we do today. Sometimes they drew pictures on animal skins or rocks. Today you will watch a quick video teaching you a little more about this type of art. Then you will get an opportunity to try out making your own petroglyphs (you'll learn what that is from the video). What you'll need for this activity: -a piece of paper: white, brown/tan/light brown, or a paper bag -brown colored pencil, crayon, or marker or a pencil Instructions: -watch the video -click add response -add a picture photo of your work into slide 1. Use other slides as a reference for what symbols mean. -when you are done, click the check
