Task 1 Summary: Describe the place you would like to go by drawing and writing about it. Directions: Draw a picture of a place you would like to go. Write about where you want to go and a structure that is there. Example, Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, the beach with palm trees, etc... Bring completed worksheet back to school and turn in at Global STEM Task 2 Summary: Build a structure and test your design to find the best solution. Using household items build a structure from a place you would like to go. Examples...legos, blocks, playdough, paper, straws, etc... Task 3 Summary: Draw pictures of your Oh the Places You’ll Go structure. Directions: Draw a picture of your structure? Test your structure (earthquake test...did it stay standing?) Make improvements and draw the new design of your structure. Test again, then improve and draw the final design of your structure. Bring completed drawings back to school and turn in at Global STEM. Do NOT bring in the actual structure!!!
