Materials for word building: Plain piece of paper, a marker, scissors, and a pencil Preparation for word building: -Write the letters with a marker in a row for your child (refer to the word building video for the letters that are needed). -Cut the letters into a “strip” (from the rest of the paper). -Have your child cut between each letter and set letters up in “home row”. Materials for dictation: -Dictation paper (white paper, notebook paper, etc.) OR dry erase board -Pencil OR dry erase marker
