Student Instructions

Click on the attached link. This will take you to the "Area and Perimeter Practice" board. Follow the numbered flow chart on the board. 1. Click on WATCH and watch the video "How to Find Area and Perimeter." 2. Click on READ and read the article "Beats of Art." 3. Click on WATCH and watch the video of real taiko drummers. 4. Click on PLAY and play the game "Perimeter Power" at the bottom of the page. Tap add. 5. Answer the math problems in the Seesaw activity. Be sure to read the problems carefully and pay attention to whether you are finding area or perimeter. 6. Find a square or rectangular object in your home and take a photo of it. Measure the sides of your object, in inches, using a ruler or measuring tape. Use the "mark up" feature in photos to label the length and width of your object. Then, find the area and perimeter of your object. Show all of your work either on the photo directly or in Seesaw. 7. To submit your finished work, click the check.
