Student Instructions

We are going to create a toy design for the future. We will use the B-A-R strategy to think about the concepts of change and connection in response to watching and learning about the Lego story. Complete this task using paper and pencil. Only use your iPad for the instructions and to submit your work. 1. Choose a toy that you have used in the past or the present. Draw it. (E.g. teddy bear or toy car.) 2. What would you change to make it more interesting for future children? Circle each part and label the changes. - B is for Bigger: Make one part of your toy bigger. Think about what and why you would do this to improve your toy. - A is for Add: Add something to your toy to make it better or more exciting. (E.g. sticky wheels to allow the car to climb walls, or a beating heart in the teddy bear - it can be made up!) - R is for Replace: what part would you remove and put something else in its place? 3. Add a photo 4. mic what you have changed and why.
