Environmental Print Knowledge

Scavenger hunt time! I challenge you to find different upper and lowercase letters with your child to help them become a stronger reader and writer :) 1. Find letters in various environments with your child. You can find any letters, or the specific letters in your child's full name. Examples: outside, roadsigns, store fronts, labels on food, ect. 2. Take a picture and post it on Seesaw to this activity, OR if it's a label cut it out and send it to school in your child's purple communication folder. 3. The picture(s) you post to Seesaw with your child (I will print), or the labels you cut out and send in to school, will go in a class alphabet book. This book will be read aloud in class and used as a reference when students are writing.
