Have you ever thought about what is under our feet? Today we will be looking at different types of rocks and how they are formed. You will be learning all about the rock cycle using Starburst. You will need an adult at home to help with this as well as: 3 different coloured Starbursts knife Wax paper Plastic Bag Tin foil If you are unable to do this please watch the attached video. Once you have done (or watched) the experiment, please complete the grid detailing the different rock types and then fill in the table with everything you understand about the rock cycle. You must use your own words. As a challenge, answer the question posed by the alien at the end of the activity.
