Watch the video on the cover page of the Scholastic News called "Kids Can Change the World". You have been involved in changing the world by participating in our WaterStep leadership project this year. But after watching the video, what are some of your own ideas of how you would want to change the world? The video says that first you have to "Find a problem you want to change in the world." Today, I would like for you to think about that question, "What problem would I want to change in the world?" then tell me about it. Use the template attached to tell me about your thinking. It should include a CLAIM... "A problem I want to change in the world is..." Then share your REASONS for wanting to make this change. And finally, share your EVIDENCE. What evidence have you seen that makes you want to make this change? Use the template attached to share how you can be a change maker!
