L.I: We are learning to understand and use the 'greater than' and 'less than' symbols to compare numbers. S.C: I know how to use the 'greater than' and 'less than' symbols to show which number is bigger or smaller out of two numbers. 1. Read the Comparing Numbers document attached. 2. Use your Home Learning Scrap book to have a go at drawing each symbol. Don't forget a title and date. 3. Visit the website maths is fun and scroll down to the bottom where it says 'Try it yourself'. 4. Click on the first 2 links to practise comparing numbers using the symbol. Compare numbers 0-10 and compare numbers 0-100.
