Teachers, this Boggle game is great for a word study activity for spring time. The words spring break are in the letter boxes with additional letters added to increase the challenge. This Boggle board was created with 2nd and 3rd graders in mind, however it would be a great family game for 1st graders and fun for 4th graders too. >>> add your own voice directions as needed for your particular class. * If you are face to face and able to have students work with a partner, this would be a great partner activity. * If you are virtual, you could do this as a Fun Friday activity and put groups of students in a Zoom breakout room for a given time. * You can assign it at the beginning of the week and allow them to work on it throughout the week. * I teach my students how to fold their paper into 4 columns. At the top they label the columns with: 1-2 letter words, 3 letter words, 4 letter words, 5+ letter words. This helps them keep their words organized and use rimes to build them. * I put how many words the teacher found to challenge them to beat the teacher! {I actually found many more so there is a great opportunity for them to feel success} ** Clipart from Creative Clips on TpT
