Students will create a game in small groups. Choose the size of your game by using construction paper, poster board, notebook paper, etc. Decide if you want a numbers game, ABC game, word game, strategy game - be creative! Design and draw your board game, and then come up with rules on how to play. Write the rules on a piece of paper. Click on the second picture for ideas! 1. Tap the green add button. 2. Take a photo of your new game. 3. Describe your game and record the rules of how to play. 4. Tap the green check to add to your journal. 5. Enjoy playing the game together! Extension: Younger students can create a simple race track where they roll a dice and move cars or small objects around the track. Older students can incorporate direction cards, special move cards, challenges, dice etc.
