Student Instructions

Today, you will work on a Character Analysis of one of the different characters from the novel, Number the Stars. You will choose a character to create a word art for. To begin, brainstorm a list of words and phrases that would best describe your character. Once you have completed your list, you will follow the directions below to create your own Character Word Art. 1) Go to the website www.wordart.com 2) Click Create Now 3) On the bottom left, click on the word SHAPES 4) Select a shape from the many different categories that would best represent your character. 5) Next, click on the word WORDS above the shape you selected. 6) Type your list of words one at a time into the appropriate boxes. 7) After you have typed all your words, click VISUALIZE 8) Take a screenshot, then crop and edit your photo. 9) Add your photo from the Camera Roll to SeeSaw. 10) Click the GREEN CHECK to add to your portfolio.
