Student Instructions
Read this book at least two days in a row. By the third day, you should be very accurate and sound very fluent (reading smoothly, like talking).
Click on the picture of the title page to begin to read the book.
Read each page to your parent, babysitter, or an older sibling - if you get stuck on a word, try to make the sounds in the word - if you can’t work it out, your helper can tell you the word after you’ve had a try at it.
After you read each page, your helper can ask you the questions at the bottom of each page and talk about those with you.
When you have read the book two or three times, do the activity template (with a recording
) so I can hear how you sound as you read!
OPTIONAL: follow-up task:
1. Do you do any sport or activity that requires you to wear special safety gear? Draw a picture of yourself doing the activity and label all the safety gear that you are wearing. You can then share this with me by pushing
the new post button and taking a
photo of the picture and adding a
caption, or making a
video recording in which you can tell me about your picture.
OR
Write (on paper or in a
Note) about if you would or would not like to do motocross and tell my why. (If you already do motocross then maybe you could tell me why you enjoy it). Share it with me as per the instructions above.
