Subjects: Physical Education

Student Instructions

The sun represents spiritual awareness and from ancient times it has been considered for its role in the life cycle. Surya Namaskar is a warm-up routine based on a sequence of seven asanas, of which five are repeated twice–making it a twelve-step movement composition. 1. Take a look at the resources, then research a little, and come with some ideas about how this practice is beneficial for you. 2. Then look at the video link as an example and practice for at least 3 days doing 4 to 5 sequences. 3. Click in add to record a video of you showing your Surya Namaskar, then click in mic to record a brief reflection comment about your experience comparing day 1 with day 3. 4. Include three benefits of the Surya Namaskar practice according to your personal search in the designated slide.
