Student Instructions

Welcome to our first Potato Olympic Event - Running. Before you begin, create a ramp for your potato athlete to 'run' down. You could use a chopping board leaning on some books or your sofa. Be creative. add 1. Place your first potato at the top of the ramp on the starting line, let the potato roll down. 2. Using a tape measure, measure the distance between the bottom of the ramp and where the potato rolls. 3. Record results in the table label 4. Repeat for your second potato. NOTE: One turn each for each heat. There are 3 heats IMPORTANT: Disqualification if you push the potato down the ramp! 5. Who received the gold and silver medals? Record their name and the best distance they rolled. label 6. Interview one of your athletes. mic video check
