Student Instructions

Did you know that children can make a big difference in helping to keep our planet clean? Let's celebrate Earth Day and find ways to use the three R's. 1) Reduce 2) Recycle 3) Reuse (or Repurpose) There are many things we do not really need. We can use less. For example light, T.V. and computers can be turned off when we are not using them. We can Reduce what we use and help the planet. When you RECYCLE you can sort many household items such as plastic bottles, cans, and paper and put them into the recycle bin rather than put them into the trash. We avoid contaminating nature and filling landfills by recycling. Have you ever thought about how many things you could REUSE (or REPURPOSE)? This could be so much fun! What could you make out of a big box or out of an old pair of jeans? You could use your imagination. Today you will look for things to REDUCE, RECYCLE, and REUSE. Take Pictures of these items and make a Pic Collage of all the things you can do to make a difference.
