Student Instructions

Writers! You're ready to start thinking about how you will write your research club book chapter. You've decided on your topic and you've thought about what subtopics you'll have in your chapter. Now, it is time to "write in the air" and teach someone all about your topic. 1. Get a toy or stuffed animal you will "teach" your topic to. 2. Use the :camera: app to record yourself saying what you know about your topic out loud (no actual writing today, it is all out loud in the air) REMEMBER TO LOG OUT OF ZOOM TO RECORD! 3. Be sure to think through all you want to teach your reader and practice how you will write it. You will need to talk about all the subtopics you will teach. This will be long, 3-5 minutes, just as long as your written chapter would be. Don't worry about being perfect, this is just a practice! 4. After you've recorded yourself writing your flash draft "in the air" (not on paper, just talking it out and recording what you want to write later), upload upload it to this post! 5. Click check to turn it in. 5. Look ok the Zoom screen for what choices you have next.
