Every year I give my class this puzzle to solve! Every year I forget the solution! Here's the puzzle: A farmer 👨‍🌾 must take his fox 🦊, a chicken🐔 and sack of grain 🍞across the wide river. The trouble is, his boat ⛵is old and leaky, and he can only take one across with him at a time. If he leaves the fox with the chicken, the chicken will be eaten. If he leaves the chicken with the grain, the chicken will eat the grain. How can the farmer get all 3 across the river to the other side (without any of them eating each other)?! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️ You can try to solve it using pen and paper.
