You have been allocated an individual person to research. You are to work in your allocated groups to fill in the attached template James Stirling - Founder and first Governor of the Swan River Colony John Septimus Roe - arrived in WA in 1829 as Surveyor General. He was an early explorer responsible for naming many towns and features in W.A. Thomas Peel - arranged a grant of land of 250,000 hectares and brought 400 settlers to the Swan River Colony on board three ships, the Gilmore, Hooghly and Rockingham.
