We have been learning about coding and we have learnt some new vocabulary: algorithm, program, bug, debug. 1. Look at the map and decide which picture you would hide treasure under - don't tell anyone where it is! 2. Write a program using symbol emojis as a caption that takes you from the star to the hidden treasure. 3. Ask a friend or family member to read the program. 4. Did they find the treasure? If not, it's time to debug!
End of unit assessment following 4 sessions focusing on beginning programming concepts. Designed for Grade 2.
