Student Instructions

This term we are investigating different forms of poetry and this week we are looking at Concrete Poems. These are picture or shape poems and the words of the poem make up the picture. The colour, size and shape of the font helps to create the picture. They need to be seen on the page as well as being read aloud. You have 2 tasks: 1. On slide 1, highlighter and mic to record 3 (or more) things you noticed about the poem. 2. On slide 2 photo to share your own Concrete Poem. Write your poem in your poetry or literacy book, edit and then publish it (think about your colours and size of the writing, and the shape you choose.) photo of your completed poem. mic to share your thinking.
