This week, we will be using the video from the Literacy Shed "Alma" to drive our learning. https://www.literacyshed.com/alma.html WARM UP - PIE CORBETT WRITING GAME: Poem Creation (Example attached) Write a list of simple nouns / objects - table, field, door, etc. Then make a list of abstract nouns - curiosity, doom, opportunity Pair them up with the word 'of' in the middle and create a poem! e.g. The door of curiosity, the table of opportunity, the field of doom. TASK 1 - WANTED Poster The shop owner is not seen throughout the video, but lots can be inferred about them. Re-watch the video and discuss what inferences can be made about the shop owner. Design a "wanted" poster for the shop owner; this could be more descriptive or you could do a detailed drawing of what you think he might look like.
