Kindergartners use many hands-on materials during math. With Seesaw, it’s easy for students to take a photo of their work, use the drawing tools, and record their voice to reflect on their learning. It’s a great way for you, the teacher, to quickly see and hear from all of your students. Before students complete this activity, teach them how to log in, post to the journal, and respond to activities. We have 4 quick lessons to teach students these essential skills at web.seesaw.me/get-students-started-kit. Give the lessons in person or virtually via video conferencing. Then, assign this activity to teach students how to use Learning Tools. After any math lesson you teach, share this activity with your students. They will take a photo, use the drawing tools to draw on top of the photo, and tap the microphone to explain their math work. You can get a glimpse into their thinking and hear how they applied their problem solving. To do this activity with students… 1. Share this activity by tapping the green Share button 2. Students sign in to Seesaw. 3. Students follow the steps to complete the activity.
