Change a word from present tense to past tense

Present tense (happening now) Past tense (has happened already) When a verb (doing word) is written in the present tense it ends in "ing". e.g. I am walking. When a verb is written in the past tense it ends in "ed" e.g. I walked. Look at the example showing you how to change a word from the present tense into past tense by swapping the "ing" for "ed". 1. Click add 2. Read the sentence carefully and find the verb (doing word) 3. Use the pencil to cross out "ing" and write "ed" on top 4. label to re-write the sentence correctly in past tense. 5. Click check to submit your work.
