Adjectives are one of the main parts of speech. They describe or modify nouns. Adding details and adjectives help the reader understand what the writer is describing. This lesson will help you practice by describing your favorite toy! 1. Watch the video "Writing with Adjectives / Adding Details to Your Writing" 2. Click on pages two and three to see examples of the student responses. 3. Using Seesaw's label, pen, or pencil tools complete the sentence: __________ is one of my favorite toys. 4. Next, using Seesaw's label, pen, or pencil tools choose three adjectives to describe your toy. You can use adjectives from the provided list or you can come up with your own adjectives. 5. On the next page, use Seesaw's pen, or pencil tools to illustrate a picture of your favorite toy. 6. Click on check when you are finished.
