The Boy Who Created Shelters There once was a boy named Sam who believed everyone should have a safe, warm, and comfortable place to live. He noticed in his neighborhood that lots of people throw away empty water bottles. It really upset him that people didn't recycle them and were carelessly throwing them all over the street. He saw many people living on the street begging for money that didn't have houses. Sam came up with an idea to glue the bottles together and make walls out of them. He painted them to give the people privacy in their houses. After a while, some of this friends decided to help him. They collected used furniture and rugs for the houses. It was amazing all the houses he built for the homeless people! Sam was so successful, the prime minister gave him a special award for helping others. He became quite famous for his innovation.
