Teachers, save “"Picture Perfect" BOW HOLD” to assign it to your class.

Now that we all know how important our RIGHT HAND BOW HOLD is when we're playing our instruments, it's a good idea to have a "picture perfect" example for you to model in your practice. The perfect model for this activity is...well... YOU!! 1) Bring iPads to your next lesson, week of December 3-7. 2) Together, we'll take a photo of your best RIGHT HAND position, with pencils and bows. (Mrs. Heath and/or a classmate will assist you!!) 3) Add your photo to this activity to share your "picture perfect" position with your fellow orchestra members, and for you to refer back to throughout your own practice in the weeks ahead. 4) You may like or provide positive comments to your classmates on your own time at home. (I've provided my own example of what a violin/viola bow hold should look like.) Have fun!!
