#9 - The Music Machine - Tynker Programming 101 Activity - www.tynker.com

Today you learned how to program music to code a drum machine and to create a piano. The blocks that you used were "Set Tempo," "Set Instrument," "Play Note," and "Play Drum." Explain in detail how you coded your drum machine or piano. Which blocks did you use? When you explain what you did in your activity, try to explain what you did in a way that a person who has never coded before could understand what you are saying. After you are finished your video response, go back into Tynker and add either your "Building a Drum Machine" or "Build a Piano" to the SHOWCASE. 1. Tap the add button. 2. Tap the video button. 3. Tap the caption tool to add any other information. 4. Tap the check to add to your journal. *** In our online community we are safe, respectful and responsible. If you have time today, take a look through the other student journals and listen to what your peers are reflecting on Tynker about.
