Welcome to Day 3 of our Potato Olympics. There are two events today - Basketball and Dance Before you begin, you will need some materials to make a hoop, a pillow and some music. add Event 3 - Basketball 1. Coaches will have to create a hoop. Think about materials and objects you can find around the house to do this. 2. Mark out a 2 point line and a 3 point line. 3. Coaches will have 6 shots with both their athletes. You can choose which line you would like to shoot from. Note: Use a pillow underneath the ring to prevent your potato from bruising 4. Who received the gold and silver medals for Basketball? Record their name and their total score. label Event 4 - Dance 1. Place your potato on a flat surface and play your favourite music. 2. Time how long your potato can spin for. There is a time on the page for you to use. 3. Record each time and circle the best time. 4. Who received the gold and silver medals for Dance?
