Poetry - Refugees by Brian Bilston

Refugees by Brian Bilston is an example of a palindrome, something that reads the same forward or backwards. Listen to the poem. What's your initial initial reaction to the condemnation of refugees. At first it appears to be a criticism of refugees. Listen again backwards. Show first half of the video. Do you agree with this view? How should we treat refugees? What about the line at the end “A place should only belong to those who are born there”. Is this correct? Discuss.
