Fantasy story prompts: Due Tuesday, March 24th

When you set out to write a story, it’s always important to spend a good deal of time brainstorming ideas. After all, if you don’t start with a good story idea, you’ll quickly find yourself on a path that leads to nowhere! Look at the attached list of story prompts. These can give you a good idea of imagined situations (yet still based in reality) that can help inspire you. As you read over these prompts your challenge will be to come up with 2 to 3 of your own writing prompts. When you have come up with some of your own, please publish them to the class blog (it has been reactivated so that we can share ideas for this activity). I hope this will help you generate some ideas for possible stories!
