Student Instructions

Have you ever wondered what makes a paper plane fly? Some paper planes clearly fly better than others. But why is this? One factor is the kind of design used to build the plane. Another factor is the type of paper used to build the plane. In this activity, you will get to build a paper plane and change its basic design to see how this affects its flight. You can also experiment with the type of paper you use. 1. Make an adjustment to the original paper airplane design. Take a photo. 2. Test the new design 5 times. Is the new design better? 3. Keep trying until you get an amazing design. Be sure to document your tests. 4. Experiment with changing the type of paper you use. Be sure to document your tests. 5. Click add to share what you learned. 6. mic a summary of this project.
