In this booklet you will: ◾ Learn about the names and counts of 3 types of notes: Semibreves, Minims and Crotchets ◾ Practice learning through taking part in 5 fun activities! 👉🏻 Click on the link on the right to access activities 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ⭐You can do them in any order you like ⭐You don't have to complete all at once PAGE 2 - ACTIVITY 1 - MATCHING NOTES Use the move tool to place the stickers with the matching notes. checkwork PAGE 3 - ACTIVITY 2 - HOW MANY OF EACH? Find how many of each note you can find in the picture Answer the questions PAGE 5 - ACTIVITY 3 - COLOUR IN Use the pen, pencil or glowpen to colour in the circles to match the show the counts of the different notes. PAGE 4 - ACTIVITY 4 - TRACE THE NOTES Trace the notes with the pen or pencil to practice drawing notes When you complete it, use the move tool to drag one of the emoji faces under the question to show how you feel about your work 🙂😐😕 PAGE 6 - ACTIVITY 5 - HOW MANY COUNTS? In this assessment activity students will learn about the shape and number of counts of semibreves (whole notes), minims (half notes) and crotchets (quarter notes). Students practice through activities that will also allow teachers to assess progress. This activity can be used as a booklet or as individual activities.
