Find an article in your Kind News magazine and read it. Highlight at least 3 ways in which commas are used in the article using the legend below. Yellow - Commas used to separate items in a list. Dark Blue - Commas used to separate a list of adjectives and adverbs. Green - Commas used the separate parts of addresses or dates. Orange - Commas used to separate words of a speaker from the rest of the sentence. Purple - Commas used after an introductory phrase.
