Working with Idioms

1. This is a "pair share" activity. Read the four examples of "Water Idioms" with your partner. 2. Discuss each one to check you both understand the meaning given and how it is used in the sentence. 3. Do this for each of the examples. 4. Now it's your turn. Help your partner to select an "idiom" from the list and to write their own short story about a real experience they have had. 5. Now your partner will help you to choose a different "idiom" for you to write about a real experience you have had.
